afterpas LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Chain mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

• Account information: Your name, email address (via Apple Sign-In), and optionally your phone number for friend matching.
• Game content: Words and drawings you submit as part of chain gameplay.
• Device information: Device type and push notification token for delivering notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App
• To match you with friends via phone number
• To send push notifications about your game turns
• To display your name and avatar to other players
• To generate shareable chain completion cards

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is shared only with:

• Other players: Your display name, avatar color, and game content are visible to other players in your chains.
• Service providers: We use Supabase for data storage, Apple for authentication, and OneSignal for push notifications.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen, which permanently removes all your data.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security policies on our database, and secure authentication via Apple Sign-In.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
