Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Chain mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Chain is a collaborative storytelling and drawing game where players take turns adding content to build stories and artwork together. The App is provided by afterpas LLC.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One account per person.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the words and drawings you create in the App. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and share your content as part of the game experience (including shareable chain completion cards).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the App or its services
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Create multiple accounts or impersonate others

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by afterpas LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any content created by users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, afterpas LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
